1st Annual
New England ElliptiGO
Summer Classic

The Details:

What: A 5-Mile, ElliptiGO-only, timed ride

Where: Bare Cove Park in Hingham, Massachusetts

When: Friday, August 23 at 6pm

Cost: $25

We’re excited to team up with the End of Summer Classic road race in Hingham, MA to host the first organized ElliptiGO-only race on the East Coast. This will be a five mile time trial with all participants starting simultaneously. It will travel through Bare Cove Park along the same course as the five mile road race which will begin after the ElliptiGO event is finished. Participants are encouraged to travel at their own pace. Awards will be presented to the first finishers in the men’s and women’s categories.

Participants who pre-register will receive a high-quality, limited-edition tech shirt to commemorate the occasion. After the time trial, participants may compete in the road race at no additional cost in what they’re calling “The Double”. Just let them know on race day if you would like to enter the 5 mile or 3 mile run/walk after the ElliptiGO event. Competitors will have 5-10 minutes to recover between events. Both events will be filmed from above by Dragon Fly Aerials using their new drone. It's one of the first events in New England to deploy this new technology.

Afterwards, all participants are invited to a pizza and beer party in the pavilion tent at the nearby South Shore Country Club.

On Saturday morning they’ll host a casual group ride along the coastal roads of Cohasset and Hull, known as “The Irish Riviera”. It will probably develop into several groups traveling at their own pace and will be followed by a casual brunch.
