Recreational and Former Cyclists - Ride with Comfort

One of the major drawbacks to cycling is the discomfort many people feel from the seat and riding position.  Although the ElliptiGO is designed to emulate running, because it handles and performs like a bicycle, many cyclists have identified it as a solution for enjoying a great cycling experience without the pain usually associated with cycling.  The upright natural stance is the key to the ElliptiGO's comfort.  The stance also provides a more efficient workout experience because it increases the rider's drag, forcing him to work harder to achieve speeds over 20mph than he would on a road bike.   Other than top speed, the ElliptiGO basically performs the same as a bike in terms of handling, stopping, and turning.  Also, because the rider is always "out of the saddle" and the ElliptiGO has eight gears, it is a great climbing machine and has been put to the test on some of the toughest climbs in the world, including The Death Ride, Mt. Evans, and Mt. Washington.

Meet Paul Kirincich - Former Cyclist

Paul was forced to give up cycling and decided to try the ElliptiGO in hope of enjoying the cycling experience again.  "At first I was worried about balancing, but it turns out that balancing on the ElliptiGO is easy - much easier than I expected.  More importantly, the ElliptiGO got my heart-rate up immediately.  After I did my first few rides, I was really surprised how hard I was working when I didn’t perceive myself to be working that hard. It was fun, comfortable, and weight-bearing. And, unlike cycling, you’re standing up high so you can see everything in front of you."
