SAN DIEGO, Calif. (April 5, 2017) – ElliptiGO Inc., creator of the world’s first elliptical bicycle, has added to its Sales and Marketing teams to continue its strong growth.
Kate Cornelius joins the company as a territory sales manager, becoming the fifth TSM to serve the U.S. market. She is based in Portland, Ore., and will cover the Northwest region, which comprises Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana and Northern California.
Djohara VandeCasteele joins ElliptiGO as a strategic marketing manager. Working out of ElliptiGO World Headquarters in Solana Beach, Calif., VandeCasteele will oversee the strategy for digital campaigns, monitor and report key success metrics, and serve as point person for a range of marketing programs.
Cornelius comes from a marketing and sales background in the specialty running channel. Prior to joining ElliptiGO, Cornelius worked in a sales, marketing and event management capacity for Fleet Feet PDX. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor’s degree in anthropology and psychology.

VandeCasteele was previously senior media strategy analyst at Verizon Telematics. She brings a decade of experience driving revenue growth in organizations from startups to large public companies. She has a bachelor’s degree in philosophy and master’s degrees in philosophy and international studies, all from Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, Belgium’s largest university.

ElliptiGO recently celebrated its 7th anniversary and is coming off of a record year for growth in which unit sales were up 30% and revenue increased 15% over 2015. Last month, the company launched two new models, Arc 3 and Arc 24, bringing the total number of models available to six. ElliptiGO has also added 13 new retail partners so far this year, adding to its U.S. dealer network of more than 270 locations.
