How did you first hear of ElliptiGO? I came across an article discussing ElliptiGO and they sounded interesting. Having run for 40 years, I was biking more to relieve the stress on my legs. I started my ElliptiGO journey with an Arc but now I currently own a 11R, 8C, RSUB and MSUB.
I’m a retired university professor but in the past was a healthcare administrator and registered nurse. I’m an avid fitness enthusiast and ran, biked and swim for the last 40+ years. I’m married with five children and nine grandchildren.
How Do You Use Your ElliptiGO For Fitness/Exercise? I utilize a rotation system for riding my ElliptiGOs trying to ride a different one each time I ride. I find that each one has a unique ride based on gearing and design. The 11R is my long distance bike (20+ miles), 8C for around town (10-15 miles), RSUB for more cardio and MSUB for off-road, winter and camping adventures.
What do you love most about riding an ElliptiGO? The great workout without the pounding of running. As a long time, runner, the long stride replicates the motion perfectly.
What is your favorite ElliptiGO bike?
It’s a hard choice since they each have their unique qualities. If I have to make a choice, I would say the 11R. Replicates running, great cardio, good speed and long distance.
What is your favorite local ride?
I enjoy lots of trails and country roads to ride so I try to ride a different course each time without having to transport my ElliptiGO anywhere.
What is your longest or most memorable ride?
The Tour De Donut is my longest ride, 35 miles, in Troy, Ohio. Fun because there was so many ElliptiGO riders. I plan to start doing the course that circles Columbus, it’s 40 miles of mostly trails.
