On July 12, 2025, we celebrate International Elliptical Cycling Day (IECD). Over the years the date has changed but the spirit remains the same, a celebration of the ElliptiGO and the amazing community that has been cultivated.
IECD began in 2014 to commemorate the co-founders Bryan Pate and Brent Teal, formalizing their partnership to develop the world’s first elliptical bicycle in July 2005.
Today the ElliptiGO remains the industry leader in elliptical cycling, we’ve sold over 40,000 bikes across the world.
For Global Elliptical Riders Club members who participate in the GOGO challenge, you can earn extra points for riding. Check the GERC website for more information.
