Looking to make 2018 the most memorable year yet? Want to break down perceived barriers and achieve a new personal best?
You are invited to participate in the Longest Ride Challenge, created by ElliptiGO expert and enthusiast Idai Makaya. Idai will be attempting to set a new Guinness World Record for the 2,700 kilometer (1,700 mile) round trip journey between John o’Groats and Land’s End using his ElliptiGO bike. He invites others to take on their own ride challenge and set their own new personal distance record.
Idai will be riding in memory of his brother, the skydiver Garai Makaya, who passed away on February 11, 2017. He will also be raising funds for a documentary film on Garai, the proceeds of which will be dedicated towards fundraising projects which Garai supported. Riders are welcome to join in on the fundraising project.
ElliptiGO will be donating 10% of the pre-tax bike price on all ElliptiGO bikes purchased for the Longest Ride Challenge. Bikes can be purchased directly from the ElliptiGO USA or ElliptiGO UK websites quoting “The Garai Makaya Documentary Project” in the comment section of the online order form.
