New Studies Share “Miracle Drug” Against Age

Researchers have discovered a “miracle drug” against memory loss and age-related cognitive decline, and it’s proven to be a mood-booster.

The magic potion? Cardio, otherwise known as aerobic exercise. The benefits of aerobic exercise are proven to have a powerful positive impact on the brain. Business Insider recently revealed the results of several studies which support getting one’s heart rate up, moving and sweating can help keep the brain young.

Among the studies examined was one authored by Kan Ding, a neurologist with UT Southwestern’s Peter O’Donnell Jr. Brain Institute linking poor fitness to weaker brain fiber and higher dementia risk.“This research supports the hypothesis that improving people’s fitness may improve their brain health and slow down the aging process,” Dr. Ding said in a statement.

The ElliptiGO bike provides the benefits of aerobic exercise with the bonus of low impact motion. An effective and fun way to get your cardio in, the ElliptiGO bike is 33% more efficient than riding a traditional bike, according to a study by the Exercise and Physical Activity Resource Center (EPARC) at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD).
