With its long days and warm weather, summer is the perfect time to get outside and get active. Whether you’re getting a workout in while traveling or cruising through your neighborhood, staying safe on the GO will be key to enjoying every moment. Here are some of our favorite tips for riding safe and feeling confident this season:
Don’t Forget Sunscreen
Bright, sunny days shouldn’t be ruined by the sun’s harmful rays. Before you head out for a bike ride or run, slather on protection from the sun. Look for SPF lotion that is waterproof and sweatproof and always make sure to reapply – especially if you’re getting active midday when the UV level reaches its daily peak.
Protect Your Head
This tip is a no-brainer – always wear a helmet when you’re riding your ElliptiGO or any other kind of bike. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. Any rider who goes without a helmet is at an increased risk of brain injury. Be smart and stay smart by safe-guarding your noggin.
