The Team ElliptiGO weekend at the 2018 TD Five Boro Bike Tour was a blast from start to finish. 78 ElliptiGOers from 21 US states and 4 countries traveled to New York City for a weekend of fun, camaraderie and unforgettable riding. The weekend was orchestrated by ElliptiGO enthusiasts: Thomas Russo, Carol Galgano and Pam DeStefano.
The co-founder and CEO of ElliptiGO, Bryan Pate, shared his experience: “A few of the highlights of the trip include the Friday ride around Manhattan, the fabulous meet & greet at Beckett’s and the 9/11 Museum Tour. During the Big Apple Bike Tour on Saturday, we rode along the Hudson River and through Central Park, ending up in Times Square to be serenaded by “The Naked Cowboy”. Our preferred-start placement for the Five Boro Bike Tour on Sunday morning, made the event wonderful. Throughout the 40-mile ride, ElliptiGO riders popped up everywhere. The ElliptiGO group was the second largest group there and ElliptiGO green was a dominant color in the parade of 30,000 cyclists. The whole weekend was extremely well organized and a tremendous success, enabling us to reinforce old friendships and build new ones. Sign me up for 2019!”
There’s no doubt in our mind that the ElliptiGO Team will be representing the stand up cycling sport in even larger numbers at the 2019 Five Boro Bike Tour. To NYC we GO!
