Next year marks our tenth year of selling ElliptiGOs. We are proud of this accomplishment and recognize that, without our customers, followers, and supporters, 25,000 ElliptiGOs would not be on the road today.
A lot of things have changed since we started selling ElliptiGOs almost a decade ago. Two things that haven’t changed are the prices of the 8C and 11R models. They have remained the same since we introduced them in 2011. Although our costs have increased significantly over the years, we have absorbed them so we could keep our prices as affordable as possible. Unfortunately, we can no longer sustain this approach. As we plan for the future growth of this category with the goal of positively impacting more lives, we have made the tough decision to increase our pricing on our long-stride models.
On January 1st, 2019, we will make the following price changes:
ElliptiGO 3C: $1,999 to $2,199
ElliptiGO 8C: $2,499 to $2,699
ElliptiGO 11R: $3,499 to $3,699
Pricing on the SUB and Arc models will remain the same, as these product lines were introduced more recently.
In hopes of lessening the impact, we have been communicating this change in advance of it taking effect. If you have been considering buying a long-stride bike, we hope you’ll be able to make your purchase before the end of the year.
